Important Information About Procedures
For Opening a New Account
With the
Williamsport Teachers Credit Union

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this mean for you:

When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. If you presently have an account with us and you open additional accounts, add joint owners to an existing account or apply for a loan, we must also verify and retain copies of your identification.

We ask for your understanding as we work to support these efforts to maintain the security of your funds and our country.

Looking to Join Us? 

Our eligibility requires that you are a permanent employee of an educational facility in Lycoming County. Your eligibility also qualifies immediate family members as well. 

Visit our office and fill out an application card while providing us with a valid I.D. and a minimum payment of $5.50.

($5.00 must stay in the account and $0.50 is a one-time membership fee to open).
